However, just outside the hotel there is the Anhalter Bahnhof stop which is connected to the main metro lines and allows you to move quickly throughout the city. The hotel is in the classic style of the ibis chain, with comfortable and clean standard rooms. The furniture is not ultra modern but it has all the essentials, the room is sufficiently spacious, the bathroom is medium in size. The bed is comfortable. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful, varied and of excellent quality. Good quality/price ratio. Definitely worth returning.

A tip: a very quick route to Hauptbahnhof (Main railway station) is take S-Bahn to BrandenburgerTor (two stops) and then the U5 to the Main station. It seems that not many people are aware of this route. Obviously the route can be reversed to travel back to hotel, if you can find that is U5, The hotel is within handy walking distance of a proper Post Office and various important Berlin locations.
