ibis Berlin City Potsdamer Platz

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all super friendly and rooms were basic but comfortable! Location is brilliant! S line at the end of the street and checkpoint Charlie around the corner. We also used the Lidl for bits and pieces as we stayed for 4 nights.

The hotel is located in the central area of Berlin, very close to the Mall of Berlin and Potsdamer Platz. It is possible to reach the central Unter den Linden and the Brandenburg Gate by walk in less than twenty minutes. However, just outside the hotel there is the Anhalter Bahnhof stop which is connected to the main metro lines and allows you to move quickly throughout the city. The hotel is in the classic style of the ibis chain, with comfortable and clean standard rooms. The furniture is not ultra modern but it has all the essentials, the room is sufficiently spacious, the bathroom is medium in size. The bed is comfortable. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful, varied and of excellent quality. Good quality/price ratio. Definitely worth returning.

The location is great for the various places we needed to access in Berlin. Easy access to bus, tram and submay and witrhin walking distance of many places.

The hotel is perfectly located near S/U stations, very good for sightseeing. Also great spot to rent a bike. Near shops like Lidl or Spatkauf. The room was very clean, not too big, but enough for a couple. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is nice, nothing extra, a little annoyed I would say, but maybe they were having a worse weekend. All in all a lovely stay.
